Where we will live in Minnesota:
Things are moving so fast here! Mike has already started his position at Allina in Minneapolis, and he is having a great time. We are still in Chicago, and looking forward to being up there with him, but we're enjoying our last few weeks in Illinois. Isabella's very busy with school in the mornings and afternoons, lots of playdates with friends, ballet, and Chinese lessons. She's learning Chinese because she will be attending a Chinese Immersion kindergarten in Minneapolis called XinXing Academy!
Gaba and Nana came to visit a couple weekends ago so that I could drive up to MN with Mike to look for a new home for our family. We saw about 15 homes and fell in love with one of them and put an offer on it. The offer was accepted and contract was signed a couple days later. The closing for our Westmont home is October 9 and the closing on our new home is Octer 12! Marathon is also in two short weeks-- October 11. My longest run so far was 22 miles last week and the next two weeks will be tapering for the race. I feel as ready as I can be.
