Home, Home on the Range

1. Mike was offered and accepted a new position in Minneapolis

2. We fixed up a lot of things in our house and cleaned and packed

3. We put our home on the market on 8/24/09

4. We received a signed contract for the home on 8/25/09

5. We signed the contract 8/26/09 (tonight)!

6. Ah-Gong and Ah-Mah came for a long visit (almost 3 weeks), which was so helpful as we were preparing the house to sell.

7. Isabella enjoyed a week at Sandy Island with her Gaba and Nana and a quick but wonderful visit with her Granny and Big Grandma.

8. Will turned 1 on July 27.

9. Will is 100% walking

10. Isabella had a fun summer of playdates, science camp, magic class, judo, swimming lessons, carnivals, and ballet

11. Isabella can coast on her Razor scooter after practicing all summer

12. Isabella reads. Alot! about 1.5-2 hours a day.

13. Will's words: Dada, Mama, doggy, balloon, ball, light. He understands many more

14. Will is starting to get in Isabella's business and she's so patient with him.

Upcoming events:

Isabella is starting Kindergarten at the public school tomorrow. This morning we went to her school to drop off her supplies, see the classroom and meet her teacher, Mrs. Speziale. Tomorrow is her first day of school! Mike is working from home so we can all walk her to the bus stop and see her off.

Isabella is also going to Seton Montessori in the afternoons, so she'll be in a school all day (except for lunch at home in-between schools). She is very ready and very excited. However, this schedule will only last about 6 weeks since...

We are closing on the Westmont house on October 9. I am still running the marathon on October 11 and we will departing for Minneapolis the same day!

We have been incredibly blessed with good fortune. I hope all of you have as well.
