You can see Will's new hair below. Isabella also had her haircut a few weeks ago. Summer is finally here-- it's 90 degrees out! We have done lots of things recently. We've visited the Animal Houses at the Arboretum a few times, the Zoo, and Isabella is enjoying her summer classes. Yesterday, she took a magic class and has been practicing it for the last couple days. After the class, she asked me "Mama, am I a magician now?" and was thrilled when I said yes, since she can now perform some magic tricks.
Isabella also lost her second tooth! It was a little more dramatic than the first tooth, with blood and tears. After we reassured her that it was okay and normal for that to happen, she was excited about leaving it for the tooth fairy. Again, the next day when she discovered a dollar under her pillow, she said "I'm so happy I have tears!"
Will is practicing his walking and talking and is very close to taking his first steps, I think. He loves to try to imitate what we are doing or saying. I think he understands a lot of what we say, but his pronunciation isn't good enough for me to understand unless I hear him say it immediately after I say it. e.g. "gock" = "dog" , "gack" = "cat". But he can growl and give kisses perfectly!
