We had ANOTHER round of sickness in the Doyle family, this time just the girls. For some reason, Mike and William were fine. I think Will got my antibodies through nursing. Mike is convinced that he was the carrier of the bug. At any rate, I'm glad that we're doing better, and I hope it's the last cold this winter.

Last weekend, William and I flew to Atlanta for 3 days, while Isabella and Mike had a great weekend together in Chicago. My sister Teresa also flew to Atlanta (from MA) with her twin boys, Erik and Aleksander. The twins are only 5 weeks younger than Will. It was so much fun!

Atlanta Pics:

Mike and Isabella had a busy weekend, too. They went to the Field Museum, celebrated Abraham Lincoln's birthday at our local library, did science projects, art, and read lots of books. Isabella is becoming an excellent reader and is starting to write her own sentences.

This is hard to decipher, but it actually says "Isabellas dog iz named leminade"

Isabella couldn't find the bottle for her baby doll (in the pink car seat at left), so she said she had to breastfeed the baby.

Something else Isabella wrote- 95% on her own (I helped with spelling "because"). It says "Mom and Dad I love you because you play wif me" :) She has very simple needs.

Will is 7 months old!

A flashback-- Isabella at 7 months old.

Isabella wrote her own list of groceries... I have to scan it in or take a picture to post on here. She wanted to buy flour, vanilla, baking soda, salt, and water. She did her own shopping for these items at Trader Joe's, and asked a store employee for help finding the vanilla. We don't actually need all these things at the moment, but we'll probably use them some day!

Comments:
I love the picture of Mike at the piano with the tiny feet on either side!
