We took Isabella to ride a couple rides at our village fair over the weekend... riding the kiddie roller coaster was her dream come true! She rode it twice, and even started to put her arms up the second time. She and I will have a great time riding big roller coasters together in a few years :-)

I had my 36 week doctor visit today and was surprised to learn that I'm already 3cm dilated and 75% effaced! Apparently all the braxton-hicks contractions I've been experiencing have been doing something. Baby is in ready position and is measuring a bit on the big side (37 weeks). My doctor said that they would not try to stop it if I were to go into labor now. It's such a relief to not have to worry about premature labor.

I am going to put the infant car seat in tomorrrow and pack my hospital bag, just in case. Right now I'm creating my "labor playlist" on my ipod. :-)

Wow, that's exciting news! Hope you're feeling well and are getting enough rest.

I agree about the worry about premature labor, once we past the point where it's full term it was such a relief.

I'm excited for you and your (expanding) family!
