Isabella's career in school has officially begun! Today was her first real day at her Montessori school, and it sounds like she loves it... she came home with lots of paint on her dress and told me about how she chased boys (!), and how a "big friend" (the school mixes kids from ages 3-5 years) showed her how to cut her banana during their snack time.

This morning was also the start of her Chinese classes again. It went great today! The teacher is fantastic, Isabella picked it up quickly and seemed enjoyed it. She only goes to Chinese school on Tuesday mornings, but preschool is every weekday afternoon for 2.5 hours.

I've been working a lot on getting my business going-- will talk more about that soon!

She had a great time at the Little Village in Arlington Heights. She's really interested in make-believe play now, as you can see from the pictures below:

Here are some pictures from our trip to the Brookfield Zoo last Friday.

We got one of those cheesy wax sculptures... (she got a gorilla, in case you can't tell what it is)

She painted her own face... she's a tiger! I was trying to get a picture of her roaring at me.

Of course, a trip to the zoo is not complete without a few rides on the carousel.
