Today, Isabella and I went swimming at Taylor and Abby's house for playgroup. She is very eager to learn how to swim now! I think she will have an awesome time at Sandy Island this year. Maybe she'll come back knowing how to swim on her own ;-)









We went to the Brookfield Zoo again last weekend. It was a hothot day!

When I took this picture, Isabella was whining "It's too hot, Mama. I don't like it, Mama. Carry me, Mama." Can't you just read it in her face?












Last Sunday, Isabella played at her buddy Roni's house on Sunday so Mike and I could go out for his birthday. We had dinner together and went fishing. I made him a blueberry birthday pie, which turned out to be really delicious. I love that Mike and I get to go out on "dates" on a fairly regular basis. It's nice to not be a parent for a few hours and to just enjoy being with my husband.
