Isabella is leaving on Friday (Nana is coming to pick her up) to spend a week at Sandy Island with her Gramps and Nana, and to visit her Granny and Great-Grandmother ("Big Grandma") in Framingham. Gosh, I'm going to miss my little monkey soo much!!!
I am looking forward to spending time with Mike, though, and I am going to make the most of the time by myself. Mike and I are going camping this weekend, which will be great. Next week, I'm going to get my business website completed, clean our entire house well, and hold a garage sale.
Isabella's Ah-Gong and Ah-Mah were planning a visit in early August to see us, but it was cancelled. We just discovered that my grandma (mom's side) has cancer :( So my mom is flying to Taiwan in a week, and will be there with my grandma until October. I'm so sad to hear the news. I just talked to my mom tonight, and we discussed having me go to Taiwan in late September. I would like to bring Isabella, so they can meet their only great-granddaughter...
Last year at Sandy Island:
Today we went to the Two Toots Grille with a few of her playgroup friends. The place is cute; a miniature toy train brings greasy diner food to your booth. As you can imagine, the kids love it! Afterwards, we went to the library, where she made friends with a bunch of 6 year old boys. I have pictures from today, which I will post later since their still on my camera.
Here are some pictures from the past few days. She's so funny when we go out now-- she has to wear her sunglasses and carry princess wallet. I tried to put a dollar in the wallet, but she didn't like that.
