Teresa and Ulrik's wedding was a lot of fun, and my sister was so gorgeous! We had a great time in Europe, but it's nice to be home. Isabella was asking for our house almost every day ("the brown house"), but otherwise, she adapted really well, even to the time change. I think it's all catching up to her now; she has been napping all afternoon, and she never naps!

On to the pictures...

Denmark

Brunch in Copenhagen- Isabella took this picture of Mike

Copenhagen brunch- Uncle Lawrence and Mike

Isabella riding the merry-go-round at the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. Tivoli is an amusement park/garden in the middle of the city, and is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. It is said that Tivoli inspired Walt Disney to start Disney World.

Lejre Cultural Center near Roskilde, Denmark--a unique open-air museum which features reconstructions of ancient Danish living environments , like an Iron Age Village and Stone Age camp. All wedding guests were invited participate in activities such as breadmaking, archery and weaving.

Isabella made many Danish friends.

Ulrik's hometown of Kisserup

Kisserup is a very cute village

Isabella LOVED the square-dancing (in Kisserup)

Wedding day! Uncle Lawrence and Ah-Gong in the background looking dapper.

Teresa and Ulrik getting married...and checking out someone who was talking up a storm. Hint: starts with "I" and ends with "A".

In the middle of the ceremony, Isabella went up to my sister and said "I have a white dress, too!"

My pic with the happy newlyweds.
Why is it always so hard to get everyone to look at the same camera?

Wedding reception. My Dad gave an awesome toast, both funny and sweet. He was so great on the dancefloor, too! Isabella stayed up until after he danced with the bride.

Those Danes know how to party... the reception went from 5pm to 5am the next morning. I don't think any Americans made it past 3am, and we were 7 hours behind with the jetlag! Mike was one of the last Americans standing ;)

The Doyle family then flew to Iceland; Uncle Lawrence and his gf flew to Prague; Ah-Gong and Ah-Mah flew to Oslo, Norway, and Teresa and Ulrik left for a 3 month honeymoon around the world!

I'll put our Iceland pics in a new post.
