Our little Isabella is growing up so fast! She had a GREAT birthday, and is proud to tell people she is 3 years old. However, she's even more proud to say that she's a princess. Yup-- she is still obsessed with her white poofy dress and asks to wear it every day. On her birthday, I let her wear it out of the house with her tiara and wand. The world loved it, which only further encouraged her to wear the dress. Interestingly enough, she doesn't seem to like attention from strangers, except when she has the dress on.
Her tastes in food also seem to be maturing. For lunch yesterday, I made her a turkey, hummus, cheese and red bell pepper wrap and a mini baby green salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, and she finished off both.
Some of her classes started this week. Yesterday's "Early Birds" class at the Arboretum was cancelled due to weather. Why is it snowing in April? Tomorrow, she is going to her first "Wet and Messy" art class at the Children's museum.
We've finally officially started potty-training. yay!
Mike and I are discussing some specific goals and plans for the near future (next 2 years). It's very exciting, and I can't wait to talk about it once we've thought everything through!

We all ate her favorite kid foods for her birthday dinner: chicken nuggets and fries!

I made Isabella a horse-shaped birthday cake. She doesn't even like to eat cake!
