We've been working all week on getting Isabella up early enough so we could take Mike to 6:40am train. She's been grumpy each morning and a little bit sleep-deprived (due to the fact that she still refuses to take naps. she will "rest" in her room, which still really means "destroy room"). So it's Saturday morning now, and we've been up since 6:15am b/c Isabella's finally switched to this schedule. Unfortunately, I was looking forward to sleeping in today!

This week she said and did some funny and surprising things...

She completed a 30 piece puzzle of a school bus (thanks Ah-Mah and Ah-Gong!) on her own. This girl loves puzzles.

She's also obsessed with dinosaurs. Her favorite book is one her Granny got her called "Dinosaur Roar". ("Dinosaur Roar, Dinosaur squeak. Dinosaur fierce. Dinosaure meek...") She knows the entire book and requests it every night. She also plays with her dinosaur toys (from her Nana and Gaba) all the time. She calls the two longneck dinosaurs "mama" and "daddy". The other day, the mama and daddy longnecks were happy, and she made them hug.

She started counting with purpose. She likes to count all her dinosaurs.

Her babysitter asked if she wanted milk, and Isabella said "of course!" Most of the time now, she answers "sure!".

She's becoming very interested in people how are feeling. She's always asking "how are you, mama?"

Isabella has an imaginary friend called Max. It's actually a character created by Rosemary Wells. Max is the 3 year old brother rabbit of a 5 year old rabbit named Ruby. Isabella is constantly talking to Max when she's playing.

Fun memories :)
