Home, Home on the Range

We're off and running into 2007. I was sick for the first two weeks, and then I went to Vegas for my sister's bachelorette party. My mom joined us! It was fun to party with her, although I imagine that it must have been difficult for her to stop being a "mom" for a couple days. We stayed at the Wynn on the strip, which was quite nice.

Gaba and Nana were in town this past weekend, and whisked Isabella away to fun places like the Children's Museum and the Shedd Aquarium. She had a great time!

Today was Wiggleworms, one of her favorite activities of the week. She danced and sang to every song, and has grown quite fond of a little boy in the class named Charlie. She always wants to hold his hand when they march around the room.

I've started thinking again about a few ideas for paintings. I still haven't picked up a paint brush (it has been over a year!), but I'm actually many steps closer in my head to doing something creative. It feels nice.
