I wrote the post on new year's eve not knowing that both Mike and I were to suffer the same fate as Isabella that night. Sorry to put such a terrible visual in your heads. Neither of us had any energy, and we could barely get out of bed. Hence, Isabella had another few days of movies.

Here are a couple more pictures from our lazy weekend:

Movies!
More Movies!

Today, I felt much better (finally started to eat a little food again), and tried to get things back to normal. Tried to get her drinking milk again after a few days of gatorade and juices, and tried to limit the movies...

She was SO mad at me today.

She is really learning fast. Today, she said "choo-choo" when she saw a train. She blew a kiss to the hairdresser who cut her bangs. She said "Okay, bye!!" to the woman at the Arts Center. She put some legos together and took them apart. She identified the letter "X" and "B" (if we ask her where the "X" or "B" is, she gets the correct magnet). I asked her to find her socks and coat, and she ran to the next room to get them. She "blew" her nose on a napkin and threw it in the waste basket. We ask her what cow says, and she says "Moo", ask her what a sheep says, she says "baa". She knows that ducks say "quack". She loves to play with her ball ("baww"). When reading "Goodnight Moon" and the part with the "old lady who was whispering...", Isabella would finish the "hush" for us.

It's an incredible time our lives right now!
