I realized this morning that I'm very fortunate to be closely connected to the right people to make this (see post from yesterday) all happen-- my husband is the IT manager of a new institute and has experience hiring and working with IT contractors. He also has a lot of experience as a programmer and is most knowledgeable about the current trends and new technology. My sister is a business consultant who previously worked as a lawyer in business and intellectual property law serving emerging growth companies. My brother is a financial analyst who will be attending one of the top five business schools next fall. I want Isabella to continue to have structured learning while she's at home with me, and since her Granny works in a daycare and her Nana ran a home daycare years ago, they both have tons of experience with toddlers. And last but not least, all the grandparents have raised happy and confident children, which is all I really want for my daughter. I will go to these experts for their wealth of experience and knowledge!

I am also going to establish a regular playgroup for Isabella, hopefully getting together weekly. There are three mommies in our neighborhood that I have in mind. They all have kids within one year of Isabella's age and I've been interested in getting to know the moms better.

No swimming today because Isabella is still getting over her sickness. She'll probably be perfect by Monday.
