We received such thoughtful presents this year! We asked that everyone limit the amount of money spent on us this year, and I think it really does give people the opportunity to think more about the present and be a little more creative. The notes written for Isabella will be cherished. I have a box that holds every letter she's received since she was born. One day she can appreciate every single one.
Atlanta was fun... this year we were down to see my (Angela's) parents, sister and brother. It wasn't that warm, highest it got was 50 degrees fahrenheit, but it is still nicer than 20 degrees. We had lots of chinese food and Isabella had a fun time exploring a new house.
Christmas day was quite eventful. We spent the morning in the emergency room! Isabella's elbow was accidently dislocated while playing around... we now know that kids should not be lifted by their hands... dislocated elbows are apparently very common among kids. It is nicknamed "nursemaid's elbow". After the doctor popped it back, her elbow was as good as new. Poor girl... it was the arm with her thumb she likes to suck. She also fell a couple times and cried a great deal that day. It wasn't the best Christmas day for her, but I think she probably won't remember.
Here are some pictures:
BIG backpack from Auntie Carley (She loves care bears DVD!)
This is the first stuffed animal that she's liked Thanks Aunt Dorothy!
In her new Christmas dress Thanks Nana!
So much to do!
After a hard Christmas day (Check out her big scratch near her eye)
We missed all the family out east and in Colorado! Love to all.
