Here's a pic I took with my cell phone:
A very giggly girl
So Isabella completed her first week at daycare! She learned to play with other kids and to sleep around other people. She also practiced language discovery cards. I think all that learning exhausted her, and today (Saturday) she slept 4.5 hours during the day.
Having Isabella go to daycare tires me out, too. We're still trying to adjust to these new changes at home. We drop her off at daycare about 6:30am so that we miss most of the rush-hour traffic. Before she started going to daycare, I would go to the gym at 5:45am and take the 8am train to work. Now, if I want to squeeze in a workout before work, I need to be at the gym at 5am :( Let's see how that goes.
Today is the first official day that she thinks walking is pretty cool. Although she was able to walk without support for a few weeks now, she still chose to crawl most of the time. Today, she's walking quite a bit more. She's very proud of herself, as are her parents!
She is talking a lot, too! There are things she says regularly which probably have meaning to her, but we don't understand yet. There is one phrase which we've figured out- when she hands you something, she says "hee-go". Here you go.
